DataCore engages Commaxx as a strategic distributor

Complements Commaxx’ offer within software-defined storage and hyperconvergence infrastructure

Stockholm, 29September 2017 – DataCore Software has chosen Commaxx as a strategic distributor in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Thanks to Commaxx’ extensive network of resellers, DataCore lays the foundation for further expansion in the Nordic region. With the help of its partner network, Commaxx will work with DataCore’s entire product portfolio, including DataCore SANsymphony and DataCore Hyper-converged Virtual SAN.

”I’ve been watching Commaxx for a while and believe that their specialist focus on advanced technical solutions is a perfect fit for us. With Commaxx, we will be able to reach new partners across the Nordics. We also appreciate their proactivity and their close relationship with their reseller network. Therefore, it feels natural to engage Commaxx as a distributor,” says Ilpo Wilkman, Regional Manager, Nordic & Baltic at DataCore.

The increased demand for software-defined storage and hyper-converged infrastructure is the basis for DataCore’s strategic decision to engage a new distributor. Discussions with Commaxx began last spring.

Commaxx works entirely with B2B solutions in business areas including virtualisation, security and data centers. DataCore solutions belong to the data center business unit, and play an important role in software-defined storage and hyperconvergence infrastructure.

”DataCore’s solutions complements our portfolio. Our partners will now be able to offer end customers one of the most advanced storage solutions on the market, which will fit well into their overall network, security and infrastructure offerings,” says Robert Wadstein, CEO at Commaxx Sweden.

DataCore’s solutions are available from Commaxx’s resellers as of now.
