The Customer Journey to Performance & Protection takes Centre-Stage at IP Expo Europe 2018

DataCore™ on Stand F18 shows application performance improvements and protection of customer data to allow real-time, always-on information businesses can act upon in the digital world.

Stand F18, IP Expo Europe, London ExCeL, 3 October, 2018 – It’s a massive milestone to reach in the IT software industry – 20 years in business engineering the ultimate software-defined storage platform for SANs and hyperconverged infrastructures. DataCore Software is using the UK’s main IT trade show as a direct-touch platform to thank customers for their part in the journey creating the category of software-defined storage (SDS) that is now commonly accepted as a superior alternative over hardware rip-and-replace cycles.

From stand F18, the customer takes centre-stage with a new Customer Loyalty programme, a new easy licensing portal for channel customers, an upgrade programme to a superset of SDS, and some of the best performance and protection giveaways on the showfloor.

Live from the ExCeL Conference Centre London, themselves 11 year customers of DataCore’s SANsymphony™ solution to ring-fence business continuity, attendees will also be able to see live the latest developments to SANsymphony, including new versatility for ultimate future-proofing.

This versatility means for the first time, users of the SANsymphony platform have the ultimate flex and change capability and future-proofing to allow digital enablement to progress at their pace. Each same DataCore license now enables customers to transition at their own pace from external SANs to 2-tier servers SANs and eventually collapse into hyperconverged systems should they elect that route. These apply on-premises, at the edge and in the Cloud.

“This will be a showcase to eliminating performance issues technically and to how far software-defined storage has come as a technology. When George Teixeira (Exec Chairman) and other founders started DataCore back in 1998, they were frankly ahead of their time engineering software that would unlock the performance and demands of multi-core computing. Today we describe the technology they developed as niche visionaries as parallel I/O processing. It’s time now to also recognise the major part each of our customers have played in the journey to creating software-defined storage.  We warmly welcome both customers and new attendees with performance and protection requirements onto stand F18.”  Notes Brett Denly, Regional Director, DataCore UK & Ireland, who leads the local team.

Giveaway draws include the ultimate in cycle performance and protection – the Lumos smart cycle hat – watch the video for more details.
